It is always so thrilling to see peices go from our shop and fit so beautifully into someones home,above and below is a photo of the living room of one of our favourite customers, her house was recently placed on the market and they’ve used some seriously amazing photos to show case her beloved collection of furniture. The chandelier and black leather chesterfield were from out shop as well as the custom made cushions (all items availible to order) . What a fabulous looking living room, so colourful, inviting and cosy room that is so well put together.
Christmas is sooo close!37 days away actually… so weve been unpacking, primping, moving and shuffeling our shop to accomadate our recent deliveries of christmas decorations and gifts. In decorations, we have bohemian green glass, mercury glass, classic glass all finished in silver or gold. not to mention acrons and angel wings in gold to tie in with gold floral reeves. Christmas gifts are covered for most people, books, Silver jewellry, fuzen jewellry, trinket boxes, Ecoya range of candles, Gillian Haigh paintings and sooo muc more. dont forget gift wrapping is complimentary (and essential..) Sorry weve been slightly absent on the Blog front, its a very busy time of year. But to make up for that, id lke to show you a couple of sneak peaks of our current Christmas window. We’ve used our favourite colour, pink as the accent colour against smooth gold wallpapered screen, gold christmas decorations and soft pink gift wrapping. The screen is wallpaperd in a seriously gorgeous Manuel Canovas wallpaper that weve been obsessing over for a while now. Big round acorns, soft dainty angel wings and romantic gold hearts are our decorations of choice to launch the christmas season. Make sure to come and have alook though, as this is only stage 1 there will be more christmas beauties to follow…
Lastnight i sat up until 1am doing an assignment for my technical drawing class, i had to produce a technical drawing for a bathroom, a very boring, cookie cutter bathroom plan. by 11:30 i was pretty tired of the lines, numbers and tech details of towel racks, so i remided myself why i was doing this, i did some Elle Decor bathroom image research and got Re-inspired (hey it got me through til 1am and back up at at 6am) here are a few of my favs. i love the luxury of a fab bathroom, after all its not the biggest but it can be the most relaxing room of the house and one can do with a little glamorous inspiration while getting dolled up for a night out…. I think i have a soft spot for a good bath…
One of the essential items of decorating a home is most definately flowers, weather it is a fresh picked posy from the back yard, a big bunch of rustic lilly’s from the market or a highly coreographed work of art from the local florist, they bring a crisp pop of colour, fabulous scent and an earthiness to any room. While were thrilled with our faux flowers as well, Fresh flowers are definately an essential. Especially when spring brings som many remarkable types, colours and scents to our happy homes.The perfect centrepiece that can be changed wit the season OR your paint colour!They bring height and contrast to your favourite bedside collection of lamps, jewels and books, smiles and happiness when you need your day brightened.

We have put our new delivery of Ecoya candles out in to the shop today. My oh my do they smell amazing. All candles are made with natural ingredients, Soy wax and cotton wicks. As well as the candles, we also have the room sprays. We have the very classic sleek ‘Metro Jar’ candle, a beautiful glass jar with lid, stamped with the beautiful wax Ecoya branding. There is also the ‘Sorrento Occasion Jar’ candle which is a very chic black glass jar, perfect for a dining room or formal living area. The room sprays also come in the same black chic glass finish and to compliment the collection we have beautiful gift boxed soaps that would make a very special little gift. Were burning the french pear in the shop at the moment and it smells incredible, be sure to come and see the collection, that include fragrances: Wild Frangipani, French Pear, Lotus Flower, Vanilla Bean, Lemongrass & Ginger and Sweet pea & Jasmine. Its so great to have such a polished, fabulous product exclusivve to us here in Mount Eliza.
These are some pictures of the incredibly unique, bright, wild and fabulous appartment of fashion designer Betsey Johson, her Manhattan apartment is alot like her clothing designs, loud, carfree and fun. She has some seriously beautiful and charming, old wordly light fixtures, yet theres many contempary pieces mixed in so seamlessly. I bet theres a story behind every piece! i especially love the kitchen and dining room.
The above image makes me VERY happy, aside from such a chic, crisp white bedroom, Elin Kling the fab blonde in the photo also has a very highly regarded fashion blog. The swedish fashionista, publisher, designer and all round chic woman that she is has an ace blog that i frequent on the daily. A great way to take yourself away to the front rows at fashion week or her oh so Stockholm style apartment (pictured). Fashion and intriors are VERY muh in tune when it comes to being current or ‘on trend’ and i find that the glamorous woman in the fashion world also live incredible inspiring homes.. I think im going to post a fashionistas home on a regular basis..??…

I found this image on the GP & J Baker website, the fabrics are from there Orleander collection. A collection we have frequently used and will never tire of. Now these would look ace poolside!
We have a great range of beautiful faux flowers in store at the moment, below are images of just some of what we have availible. They are truly convincing and although i am still completely comitted to fresh flowers, sometimes we have little time, weather or availibility to keep our vases full! These beautys can also look fresh with some green foliage from the garden and are also great for little space that need brightening, like laundrys, study or bathroom.
